Fight For My Way is a South-Korean TV drama that aired its first episode on 22nd May. 2017.
Now, this is one of my favourite types of dramas – a drama about best friends 🙂 *Yusss!*
This drama is about the lives of four childhood best friends and their struggles to make ends meet.
And of course, there is the ever-so-common romance that blossoms between two best friends.
Ko Dong-man (Park Seo-joon) is a former taekwondo player who retired five years ago *but still has the beautiful bod same years later :P* and is now a doctor … of sorts…
He’s an exterminator.
*Nothing to be ashamed of! There is abbbb-solutely nothing to be ashamed of, ahem.*
Something had stopped him from being a great master of taekwondo and now, he struggles with a job he hates, a senior that looks down on him and a past that he cannot run from.
Now, Choi Ae-ra (Kim Ji-won) is working as an information desk employee. She doesn’t really enjoy her job, but aspiring to be an anchor, that’s the closest she’s getting to a microphone. She does what she can to just get that step closer to her dream. Determined, hardworking and with a fighting spirit, Ae-ra faces her reality with a positive outlook.
Kim Joo-man (Ahn Jae-hong) has had it better than the other three of the group. Having a permanent job at a home shopping network, he is much more financially secured with his future. He has a secret relationship with one of the employees who works in the same company, a secret that they’ve kept for six-years. Now, his loyalty to her is being put to the test when a new intern shows interest in him.
Baek Seol-hee (Song Ha-yoon) is the cute, innocent girl from the group. She works in a home-shopping call centre and is content with her life. Being a simple girl, she does not want a lavish life, but she just wants to lead a happy one with her boyfriend.
This is drama is currently ongoing (as of 23 June, 2017), so I don’t know how it will all play out, but … I AM LOVING IT!!!
Some scenes just make me go …
while others made me…
I’m lovin the playful relationship between Ae-ra and Ko Dong-man.
The kind where they know each other soo well and are comfortable with each other, so much that they even share the most weirdest of thoughts. Its adorable, really.
This is turning out to be one of the best dramas I’ve watched 🙂
So, I highly recommend it!!!
