Cinderella and the Four Knights

Do not be misled by the title and think that this is a typical cliche fairy-tail that has been retold thousands of times.

This is anything but that!

I promise you that this drama is not at all what you expect and that once you watch the first episodes, you will be hooked 🙂

A Brief Summary:

Cinderella and the Four Knights is a television series filmed in South Korea, which first aired on 12 August, 2016.

Eun Ha-Won is in her final year of high school and hopes of becoming a teacher. Her mother had died in a car accident, leaving Eun Ha-Won and her father behind. Her father remarries and Eun Ha now has a step-mother and an older step-sister.

With her father rarely at home, Eun Ha is left to endure the cruelties of her step-family who have absolutely no interest in her except for when it comes to washing the dishes or other household chores.

In hopes of making her dreams come true, she takes up various jobs to save up enough money to pay for her college tuition. She is almost at her goal, but when her mother’s final resting place is moved due to lack of payment, she has to pay for it instead, using up her entire hard-earned college tuition. Now, she has to restart from the beginning and is optimistic that she can still go to college next year.

An encounter and agreement to an insane deal with the infamous Kang Hyun Min misleads her to her very own arranged marriage. However, Eun Ha being her resilient self ends the deal as politely as one can when they crash someone else’s wedding <Kang Hyun Min’s grandfather’s wedding, to be exact>.

This deal is not without its consequences and later on, Eun Ha is kicked out of her own house by her jealous step-sister. Where will she go? With no money, no college tuition and no means to give her mother’s ashes a secure final resting place, what will she do?

She has one option, though. To live in the Sky Palace along with Kang Hyun Min, Kang Seo Woo and Kang Ji Woon, three cousins who can’t stand each other. Eun Ha’s only task is to teach them how to behave like decent human beings. There is one rule though: no dating is allowed. This, however, won’t be a problem as Eun Ha does not even think of any of them in that way.

Should she consider the offer as she has no where else to go?

But accepting it will mean leaving behind all that she believes in.
